JAMSHEDPUR – Kinnar Akhara organized its first religious conference in the city at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur.
Mahamandaleshwar Dr. Laxminarayan Tripathi attended as chief guest. She is the head of Kinnar Akhara. Moreover, large numbers from the transgender community participated.
Dr. Tripathi performed worship at Ram Mandir beforehand. She prayed for peace and prosperity nationwide. Besides, she also sought blessings for the state.
A grand procession followed the prayers. It passed through various city routes. Furthermore, it culminated at the auditorium venue.
Many prominent city residents joined the gathering. The transgender community turned up in significant numbers. However, the focus remained on religious harmony.
“We aim to end gender-based discrimination,” Dr. Tripathi said. “Sanatan dharma’s true essence should reach youth.”
She emphasized happiness and prosperity for society. The conference promotes equality among all genders. On the other hand, it strengthens spiritual values.
Dr. Tripathi announced ambitious plans for Jamshedpur. She wants to build an Ardhanarishwar temple. In addition, construction of Maa Bhagwati temple is proposed.
A Kinnar ashram is also part of plans. These structures will spread equality messages. Meanwhile, they will promote spiritual awareness too.
The historic event marks a significant milestone. It represents growing acceptance of transgender community. Besides, it showcases their religious participation.
City residents welcomed the initiative warmly. They appreciated the religious gathering’s purpose. Furthermore, they supported the proposed temple construction.
