JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy visited DC Lounge following a recent vandalism incident and questioned police handling of the case.

The incident occurred during a dispute between two children. It escalated into violence across Sakchi and Bistupur areas. The vandalism at DC Lounge was captured on CCTV footage.

Roy met the Lounge owner to gather details. He raised concerns about the police investigation thereafter. The MLA alleged authorities are shielding visible suspects.

“Police seem intent on protecting the accused,” Roy stated. He pointed to questionable actions by officers. The Bistupur police station in-charge reportedly removed vehicles from the scene.

These vehicles belonged to the accused individuals. They were parked at the incident location. However, police took them away without proper procedure.

Roy criticized this move as evidence tampering. Moreover, he questioned the lack of arrests. The CCTV footage clearly shows the perpetrators.

“If police fail to act appropriately, I will approach the state government,” Roy warned. He emphasized the need for proper investigation. Besides, he demanded immediate action against those responsible.

The incident had turned areas into conflict zones. Meanwhile, the vandalism caused significant property damage. In addition, it raised concerns about law enforcement accountability.

Roy’s intervention highlights growing public frustration. On the other hand, police have not issued any statement yet. Furthermore, no arrests have been made despite clear evidence.

The MLA represents Jamshedpur West constituency. He has been vocal about local issues previously. In contrast, police inaction has drawn sharp criticism now.
