JAMSHEDPUR – Women and children in Mango’s New Kumrum locality benefited from a welfare drive organized by Rahi Trust on Sunday.
The initiative was led by Trust Chairman Vikas Kumar Sahni. Women were given sanitary napkins, while children received school materials, biscuits, and chocolates.
Meanwhile, several leaders joined the distribution, including JDU East Singhbhum District President Subodh Srivastava, General Secretary Kulvinder Singh Pannu, and Uliadih committee head Praveen Singh with their members.
Rahi Trust, on the other hand, has been organizing such drives nearly every month. The focus remains on underprivileged schools and rural settlements where children from poor families pursue studies.
The Trust primarily works in the education sector by offering study kits and awareness. Children are advised to stay focused on learning for a better future.
In addition, women’s welfare is also addressed. On this occasion, sanitary pads were handed out along with awareness sessions on their importance. Clothes were also distributed.
