JAMSHEDPUR – Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, nodal officers appointed for blocks and urban bodies conducted reviews in panchayats and wards across the district.
As part of the campaign, inspections were carried out in Hurulung of Jamshedpur, Baghudia in Ghatshila, Gobarghusi in Patamda, Murakati in Gurambada, Junbani in Dhalbhumgarh, Forest Block in Musabani, Dholabeda in Dumaria, Chandpur in Potka, Bhula in Bodam, Bardikanpur-Kalapathar in Chakulia, and Baragadia in Baharagora. Officers also visited wards in all three urban local bodies of Jamshedpur.
During the inspections, officials examined Anganwadi centers, schools, health sub-centers, public distribution system shops, MGNREGA worksites, and panchayat buildings. They reviewed the availability, quality, and accessibility of facilities related to education, healthcare, nutrition, sanitation, and ration supply.
According to the district administration, the purpose of this drive is to ensure proper implementation of government schemes as per standards. The aim is to make benefits reach eligible citizens in a timely and transparent manner.
Officials clarified that the process is part of a regular monitoring exercise. Its goal is not only to review progress but also to enable corrective steps whenever required.
