Jharkhand’s Director General of Police (DGP) Anurag Gupta led the state’s delegation to the meeting.

The gathering addressed key issues, including timely intelligence sharing about Naxalite activities in border areas.

Participants emphasized the need for appointing nodal officers to improve coordination between states.

The development of comprehensive action plans to combat Left Wing Extremism was a central topic of discussion.

Officials stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation in border regions to effectively curb Naxalite operations.

The meeting advocated for establishing a robust mechanism for regular inter-state coordination at various levels.

IG Campaign highlighted the necessity of prompt information exchange regarding Naxalite movements in Jharkhand’s border areas.

Coordinated operations against Naxalite squads active in the border regions of Odisha and Chhattisgarh were proposed.

Jharkhand Police shared details of their recent anti-Naxal campaigns, underscoring the significance of inter-state cooperation.

The officials agreed on the importance of sharing information about active Naxalites and their associates across all affected states.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to conduct joint anti-Naxal operations and maintain regular communication between senior officials of the border states.
