The event, titled "Sunny Evening," was a vibrant gathering focused on the fusion of education and sports.
Gavaskar emphasized the importance of maintaining academic focus while pursuing sports careers, sharing insights from his own life.
He highlighted education’s role in enhancing strategic thinking and overall performance in sports.
The evening also featured a detailed discussion on "Leadership and Cricket," where Gavaskar explored how education contributes to forming successful athletes.
The session began with a ceremonial lamp lighting by Gavaskar, Dr. C Sreenivas, and Nakul Kamani.
Government officials also spoke, underscoring civic responsibilities such as voting and participation in the electoral process.
