Youth dies, two critical after bike crashes in Jharkhand

In a devastating turn of events during the Holi festivities in East Singhbhum district, Jharkhand, a road accident claimed the life of one youth and left two in critical condition. The tragedy unfolded when their motorcycle collided with a tree on the Galudih-Narsinghpur road near Gudrubasa turning, casting a shadow of mourning over the celebrations.

JAMSHEDPUR – Riding together on a single motorcycle turned tragic for three youths returning home during Holi.

The bike, identified as JH 05 BR 5802, was en route from Kesharpur village to Barbil when it spiraled out of control.

As the motorcycle crashed into a tree near Gudrubasa turning, all three occupants were hurled onto the road.

Villagers promptly responded by calling a 108 ambulance, ensuring the injured were rushed to the hospital for emergency care.

Mahesh Bhakat, 30, from Barbil village, succumbed to his injuries, while Shravan Bhakat, 27, and Tutun Bhakat, 32, are battling for their lives.

Shravan Bhakat has been referred to MGM Hospital, and Tutun Bhakat is receiving treatment at a sub-divisional hospital, with both in serious condition.

This accident has deeply affected the local community, dampening the spirit of Holi celebrations and leaving a wave of sorrow in its wake.
