JAMSHEDPUR – Bhimsen Munda, elder brother of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, passed away early Tuesday at Tata Motors Hospital, Jamshedpur, following a prolonged illness.

Bhimsen Munda had been unwell for some time and succumbed to his ailments. Former CM Arjun Munda announced the demise on social media platform X, expressing deep grief. He referred to his elder brother as a guiding figure in his life.

Grief and Condolences from Leaders

In his social media post, Arjun Munda stated, “It is with a heavy heart I inform you that my guardian, my elder brother Bhimsen Munda, is no longer with us. His absence is irreplaceable.”

Arrangements for the Final Journey

Arjun Munda informed that Bhimsen’s final journey will commence from the family residence in Ghoda Bandha at 11:30 AM. The procession will move towards the Bhuiyandih Ghat for cremation.

Meanwhile, a large number of people have gathered at the Munda residence to pay their respects and support the grieving family. The loss has deeply impacted the local community.
