Tata Motors Union Leaders Felicitated After Historic Bonus Deal
Workers Welcome Union President and General Secretary at Plant 3 and World Truck

JAMSHEDPUR – A grand welcome was organized for Tata Motors Workers’ Union leaders on Monday after the recent historic bonus agreement with management.
Celebrations began at 9 a.m. at Plant 3 of the Vehicle Factory, where Union president Shashi Bhushan Prasad and general secretary R.K. Singh were felicitated. A large gathering of workers, committee members, and union officials attended.
R.K. Singh, while addressing workers, said the credit for the agreement went to every worker. He recalled that during negotiations, he kept the workers’ concerns in mind, which strengthened their stand before management. Shashi Bhushan Prasad also extended gratitude to the workforce.
Meanwhile, senior management members were also honored, including GM Trim and Paint Kiran Narendra, GM BIW Munish Rana, and GM NPI Animesh Kumar. The event was conducted by Naveen Kumar and concluded with a vote of thanks by Ajay Singh Babbu.
Later at 11:30 a.m., another ceremony was held at the World Truck division. Here, the union leaders and company officials were felicitated with traditional attire and garlands. Vehicle Factory head Manish Verma, along with Sandeep Chouksey, Selva Raj, and Sujit Jha, represented management. Union vice-president R.R. Dubey delivered the welcome speech, and Manoj Kumar Singh conducted proceedings.
In a separate program at Chamaria Guest House, INTUC national president Sanjeeva Reddy was accorded a ceremonial welcome by Tata Motors Workers’ Union. Union leaders presented him, along with Youth INTUC national president P. Srinivasan and INTUC treasurer Surendra Rao, with portraits of J.N. Tata as mementos.
