Sur Saptak Singing and Dance Competition Draws 700 Participants in Jamshedpur
Seva Dharma Mission Hosts Cultural Event Emphasizing Indian Culture and Spirituality
The Sur Saptak singing and dance competition in Telco Colony Music Society saw significant participation, promoting Indian culture and values.
JAMSHEDPUR – A grand cultural event, the Sur Saptak singing and dance competition, was organized by Seva Dharma Mission, Renaissance Universal, and Prout TV at Telco Colony Music Society on Sunday.
The event witnessed the participation of 700 students from various prestigious schools in Jamshedpur, such as Hill Top, Little Flower, Chinmaya, Loyola, Kerala Samajam, Gulmohar, Vivek Vidyalaya, Shiksha Niketan, Rajendra Vidyalaya, DAV, DPS, and GPS.
Dharmendra Singh, Secretary of Seva Dharma Mission, emphasized the organization’s commitment to guiding children towards Indian culture and spirituality amidst the growing allure of western culture. The event aimed to encourage children to follow the path of morality and imbibe Indian values.
The competition’s theme revolved around social and devotional songs, offering a platform for young talents to showcase their skills in song, music, and dance.
The music competition commenced at 8 AM and continued until 1 PM, followed by the dance competition from 3 to 8 PM.
For several years now, Seva Dharma Mission and associated organizations have been instrumental in providing opportunities for students in Jamshedpur to nurture their artistic talents. This initiative is part of a broader effort to build a society grounded in cultural values and spirituality.
