JAMSHEDPUR – A condolence meeting was organized at the Sakchi camp office in Jamshedpur to pay tribute to Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren, whose death has left the state in mourning.

The program began with staff members garlanding his portrait and offering flowers. Attendees observed silence in his memory. He was remembered as a simple, approachable leader who was always available for the people.

JMM MLA from Silli, Amit Mahato, former MLA Kunal Sarangi, and several prominent figures joined the gathering. Along with them, a large number of JMM workers paid their respects. Leaders present said that Soren’s demise was an irreparable loss not only to the party but also to the entire state.

Speakers highlighted that he had always stood for the poor, Dalits, underprivileged, and students. His tenure as education minister was praised, as he worked on several initiatives to strengthen the state’s educational infrastructure.

Participants resolved to carry forward his unfinished work and vision. The meeting ended with prayers for his soul and two minutes of silence. The event concluded in a solemn atmosphere, with many remembering him with moist eyes and chanting “Ramdas Soren Amar Rahe.”
