Preparations Completed for Shibu Soren’s Shraddh Ceremony on August 16
Defence Minister, CMs of Telangana and Tamil Nadu Among Expected Guests

RANCHI – Preparations for the Shraddh ceremony of former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Dishom Guru Shibu Soren in Nemra, Ramgarh, have reached the final stage.
The event is scheduled for August 16 at his ancestral village. Officials expect a gathering of 5–6 lakh people. Senior administrative and police officers from various districts are supervising the arrangements.
According to officials, five helipads have been constructed to facilitate VIP arrivals. Around 40 DSP-rank officers and nine IPS officers are overseeing security operations.
Meanwhile, to assist public movement from Lukeya Tand to Nemra, 300 auto-rickshaws and battery-operated totos have been deployed.
Among the dignitaries likely to attend are Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, and yoga guru Baba Ramdev.
