JAMSHEDPUR – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Jamshedpur branch conducted a comprehensive skills development program marking World Youth Skills Day.

The event titled “Opening New Horizons – Skill Enhancement of Chartered Accountants for Success” took place at CFE Auditorium. The venue was located at Russi Modi Centre for Excellence near Jubilee Park. However, the program attracted participants from across the professional community.

ICAI Jamshedpur branch collaborated with CIRC and Professional Skills Enhancement Committee for organizing the event. Moreover, Skill India and National Skill Development Corporation provided institutional support. The partnership ensured comprehensive coverage of contemporary skill requirements.

Giridhar Ramachandran, Associate Dean at XLRI, delivered the keynote address on leadership development. Meanwhile, successful entrepreneur and coach Sumit Agarwal conducted inspirational sessions for young professionals. Both speakers emphasized practical skill application in modern accounting practices.

CA Kaushalendra Das, branch chairman, led the organizational efforts actively. CA Anand Agarwal served as vice-chairman for the program. Furthermore, CA Rishi Arora handled secretarial responsibilities efficiently.

CA Mukund Kedia managed the treasurer duties throughout the event. CA Chetan Agarwal and CA Yogesh Sharma contributed significantly to program coordination. Besides, other active members provided essential organizational support.

The program witnessed substantial participation from chartered accountants and students. Professional attendees gained valuable insights from knowledge-sharing sessions. In addition, the interactive format encouraged meaningful discussions among participants.

Speakers addressed contemporary challenges facing the accounting profession comprehensively. They also highlighted emerging opportunities in digital transformation areas. Consequently, participants received practical guidance for career advancement strategies.
