JAMSHEDPUR – The recent robbery at Anju Devi Kawantiya’s residence on Bagmati Road, Bistupur, has been solved by the police. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal revealed the case details during a press conference on Tuesday. The suspects were apprehended along with weapons, stolen items, and a tempo used in the crime.
The arrested individuals include Miraj Khan alias Babu Khan from Mango, Sawan Devgam from Singhpokhpiya (Chaibasa), Sonu Bagh alias Ravi Bagh from Bistupur, Kishan Bagh from Sitaramdera, and Raja Mahanand.
Recovered Items from the Accused
The police recovered a 25-gram gold chain, three mobile phones, a purse, and the tempo used in the robbery. Additionally, a sharp weapon used in the crime was located 200 meters away from the incident site.
SSP Kishore Kaushal stated, “This quick resolution showcases the dedication of our team in maintaining security and justice.”
Raiding Team Details
The raid was led by CCR DSP Manoj Kumar Thakur and Bistupur Police Station in-charge Umesh Kumar Thakur. Other key members included SI Akash Kumar Pandey, ASI Ranjit Kumar Yadav, and several others.
