MEDININAGAR – Ananda Marga Pracaraka Sangha inaugurated its first regional seminar of the year at the Jagriti campus in Nai Mohalla. The three-day event commenced with floral tributes to the photograph of Guru Shrii Shrii Anandamurti.

On the opening day, senior Ananda Margi, Devnath Dada, delivered a detailed lecture on “Shreya and Preya Path.” He explained that Shreya represents spiritual growth and eternal happiness, guiding individuals toward life’s true purpose. In contrast, Preya is linked to transient pleasures and material benefits, often leading to instability and dissatisfaction.

The Essence of Shreya

Devnath Dada emphasized the significance of adopting the Shreya path, which fosters spiritual purification and contributes to societal and humanitarian welfare. “Shreya inspires self-control, penance, and sacrifice, bringing peace and contentment,” he remarked. He outlined the foundational practices of Shreya, including Yama, Niyama, Dhyana, Pranayama, and Samadhi.

Devotion and Participation

The seminar witnessed devotional activities like worship and bhajan-kirtan. Attendees from different regions actively participated, reflecting the organization’s widespread influence.

Bhukti Pradhan Madheshwar, along with prominent members like Ramswaroop, Baijnath, Laxman Singh, and others, graced the occasion. Devnath concluded with a call for embracing spiritual practices to elevate life toward a higher purpose.
