  • Non-compliant drivers warned about future legal action.

JAMSHEDPUR – In an effort to curb rising road accidents, the Jamshedpur district administration, in collaboration with Tata Steel’s subsidiary units, organized a traffic awareness campaign in the Jugsalai area. The initiative sought to educate all categories of vehicle drivers on the importance of adhering to traffic rules.

Traffic police, along with Tata Steel officials, emphasized the use of helmets for two-wheeler riders and encouraged maintaining speed limits to ensure safer roads. “Drivers should follow rules and return home safely,” said Rajan Kumar, Inspector at Jugsalai Police Station.

Campaign Highlights

The campaign was marked by efforts to educate non-compliant drivers rather than penalizing them. However, officials warned that repeat violations would invite legal action in the future.

Community Involvement

Amit Kumar, Chief Manager at Tata Steel, stated, “This initiative is aimed at creating a culture of safety on our roads. Awareness is the first step to reducing accidents.” Participants expressed appreciation for the drive and pledged to follow road safety norms.
