JAMSHEDPUR – Veteran industrialist and former SCCI president Ashok Bhalotia died at a Kolkata hospital early Thursday.
The founder of Bhalotia Engineering Works Private Limited was battling cancer. Meanwhile, his illness was diagnosed just four months ago.
Community Mourns Loss
The final journey will begin from Circuit House on Friday. Moreover, the last rites will be performed at Parvati Ghat.
His brother Krishna Bhalotia shared the funeral details. Meanwhile, well-wishers gathered at his Jubilee Park residence.

SCCI President Vijay Anand Munka remembered Bhalotia’s guidance. “His words were always eye-opening,” a chamber official noted.
