JAMSHEDPUR – Veteran industrialist and former SCCI president Ashok Bhalotia died at a Kolkata hospital early Thursday.

The founder of Bhalotia Engineering Works Private Limited was battling cancer. Meanwhile, his illness was diagnosed just four months ago.

Community Mourns Loss

The final journey will begin from Circuit House on Friday. Moreover, the last rites will be performed at Parvati Ghat.

His brother Krishna Bhalotia shared the funeral details. Meanwhile, well-wishers gathered at his Jubilee Park residence.

Distinguished Leadership

SCCI President Vijay Anand Munka remembered Bhalotia’s guidance. “His words were always eye-opening,” a chamber official noted.

The late leader maintained punctuality in all affairs. Furthermore, his mild-mannered nature earned widespread respect.

Social Contributions

Bhalotia actively participated in various social organizations. Besides SCCI, he was associated with Gaushala and Rajasthan Seva Sadan.

“His helpful nature defined his daily routine,” a local social worker commented. Additionally, his influence extended beyond the Marwari community.
