MEDININAGAR – The Hare Krishna Festival, held at Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya in Palamu, inspired attendees with spiritual discourses and devotional activities.

Dr. Keshavananda Das, the keynote speaker from ISKCON, delivered an enlightening Bhagavat Katha, explaining the ultimate purpose of human life. He emphasized that the human body, gifted by God, is a rare opportunity to attain divine connection and eternal happiness.

Seeking Eternal Bliss

Dr. Das highlighted that true bliss lies in devotion to the Supreme Being, not in the fleeting pleasures of the material world. He said, “Worldly attachments and desires bring only momentary satisfaction. Eternal joy can only be achieved through unwavering faith, love, and devotion to God.”

He urged devotees to immerse themselves in God’s name, contemplate His deeds, and surrender to His divine will, renouncing materialistic attachments.

The event featured ecstatic kirtans, where devotees sang and danced to the holy name, and dramas conveying spiritual teachings. Children recited verses, adding to the event’s devotional spirit. Attendees were deeply moved, reflecting their spiritual connection and devotion.
