DC Inspects Career Development Centers in Ghatshila, Orders Bilingual Career Charts

Plans New Hostels and Sports Facilities at ITI Training Center

GHATSHILA – Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal inspected various career development facilities in Ghatshila subdivision, including the Employment Office and ITI Center.

The DC interacted with officials about registered youth at the Model Career Center. Moreover, she examined the counseling room, computer lab, and library facilities.

Career Guidance Initiatives

DC Mittal ordered bilingual career charts in schools. Additionally, she stressed coordination between education and employment departments.

The initiative aims to guide students about career paths. Furthermore, officials will ensure charts reach all district schools.

Skill Development

The DC interacted with trainees under Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana. Meanwhile, she highlighted self-employment opportunities through government schemes.

Officials briefed about CMEGP and PMEGP subsidized loans. However, emphasis remained on utilizing available government support.

Infrastructure Development

Plans include new 50-bed girls’ hostel and 100-bed boys’ hostel. Besides, proposals for an open gym and playground were discussed.

SDO Sunil Chandra and Employment Officer Chetan Kumar Sharma attended. On the other hand, ITI Principal and other officials participated in the inspection.
