Palamu Hosts District-Level Cross Country Running Competition
Over 200 Athletes Compete for State Championship Qualification

MEDININAGAR – The Palamu District Athletics Association organized a district-level cross country running competition at the local stadium.
Senior Vice President of Palamu District Olympic Association Kamalanand Dubey inaugurated the event. Additionally, Athletics Association President Ajat Shatru Prasad Sinha attended.
Meanwhile, around 200 athletes from different blocks participated. Moreover, physical education teachers and coaches supervised the event.
Competition Details
Athletics coaches Monu Kumar, Riya, Preeti, and others managed the proceedings. Furthermore, they organized the 10-kilometer race across categories.
“Successful athletes will compete at the state level,” said Secretary Sanjay Kumar Tripathi. Additionally, he mentioned the upcoming state championship in Jamshedpur.
Outstanding Performers
In the Under-16 category, Sudhakar Mehta and Pushpa Kumari showed excellent performance. Meanwhile, Akhtar Ansari dominated the Under-18 boys’ section.
On the other hand, Aryan Kumar led the Under-20 boys’ category. Furthermore, Rajlakshmi Kumari excelled in the girls’ division.
Senior Category Results
Patras Barla demonstrated remarkable skills in the above-20 category. Additionally, Vikash Kumar and Kundan Kumar secured top positions.
Meanwhile, coaches praised the overall competitive spirit. Furthermore, they expressed confidence in the district’s prospects at state level.
