MEDININAGAR – A woman and her brother were arrested in Palamu district for allegedly attempting to murder her husband by slitting his throat.
The victim, Sonu Bhuiyan from Buchilami village in Padwa police station area, survived the murder attempt. The police launched an investigation after registering an FIR in the case.
Investigation Reveals Conspiracy
“The investigation uncovered that the victim’s wife Poonam Devi had conspired with her brother Jogendra to eliminate her husband,” said a police official familiar with the case.
The duo was arrested following thorough investigation by the local police. They have been sent to judicial custody.
