JAMSHEDPUR – The fifth Jharkhand National Film Festival begins December 15, celebrating regional cinema across multiple venues.

International collaborations boost this year’s event. Partners from six countries support the cultural showcase.

Screening Schedule

Jamshedpur hosts initial screenings from December 15. Srinath University continues shows through December 18.

Michael John Auditorium features films on December 19-20. The grand finale occurs on December 21.

Cultural Significance

“This platform showcases state culture through cinema,” organizer Sanjay Uday Satpathy noted. The event promotes regional languages.

Regional artists will perform in various languages. Local tourist attractions receive special focus.
