RANCHI – Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is set to embark on a two-day visit to the Santhal region today, marking his first pilgrimage to Baba Baidyanath and Baba Basukinath temples after assuming office.
Worship at Baba Dham
CM Hemant Soren will visit Deoghar’s Baba Baidyanath Dham for the first time since his electoral victory in the Jharkhand Assembly elections. His wife, Gandey MLA Kalpana Soren, will accompany him.
According to sources, the Chief Minister will arrive at Deoghar Airport by helicopter at 11:30 AM. He is scheduled to offer prayers at the temple at 12 noon. After resting for a while, he will depart for Baba Basukinath temple via air transport.
Visit to Basukinath and Patna
Following his visit to Baba Baidyanath, CM Soren is expected to reach Baba Basukinath temple at around 2 PM. After completing his prayers, he will proceed to Patna in Sahibganj district.
Program in Barhait on Saturday
On Saturday, CM Hemant Soren will attend a significant event in Barhait. The local administration has already made all the necessary arrangements for the program. The Chief Minister will stay overnight in Patna before heading to Barhait the following morning for the event.
