SERAIKELA – A high-speed car accident occurred on the Tata-Kandra main road near Pan Dukan Chowk under Adityapur police station around 2:30 PM on Sunday. The vehicle, traveling from Bistupur, collided with the divider, causing it to overturn multiple times before landing on the opposite side of the road.
Eyewitnesses reported that four to five individuals were inside the car. Fortunately, the deployment of safety airbags allowed all occupants to escape unharmed. Local residents promptly assisted in righting the vehicle, but the occupants fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Notably, no pedestrians were harmed during the incident. Upon receiving information, SDPO Sameer Savai and Station In-Charge Rajeev Kumar Singh arrived with their team to assess the situation. The police are currently investigating the matter and working to identify the car’s occupants.
