JAMSHEDPUR – Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a public gathering in Jamshedpur, calling for a “double-engine” government to drive Jharkhand’s development, similar to Haryana’s model.
Promises of Development and Welfare
During his address, Adityanath emphasized the need for Jharkhand to embrace a BJP-led government for comprehensive progress.
He pledged welfare initiatives, including a monthly payment of Rs. 2,100 for women under the Gogo Didi Yojana, job creation, and government recruitment. “Only a double-engine government can fully uplift Jharkhand,” he said, underscoring BJP’s commitment to development.
Support for Women and Youth

Adityanath outlined various schemes to benefit women and youth if BJP secures victory. Graduates would receive Rs. 2,000 in monthly stipends, and free sand would be provided for house construction under the PM Awas Yojana.
He further announced plans to supply a free LPG cylinder during Diwali and Raksha Bandhan, with the BJP’s Lakshmi Johar Yojana offering LPG cylinders for Rs. 500 in every household.
Appeal for Local Candidate Support
The CM endorsed local NDA candidates, urging the crowd to support JD(U) candidate Saryu Roy from Jamshedpur West, Purnima Sahu from Jamshedpur East, AJSU candidate Ramchandra Sahis from Jugsalai, and BJP candidate Meera Munda from Potka.
He also credited Prime Minister Modi with achievements in job creation, healthcare, and rural sanitation, which he claimed had set India apart from struggling nations. Concluding his speech, Adityanath extended Chhath festival greetings and led the crowd with chants of “Jai Shri Ram.”
