JAMSHEDPUR – Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized Chief Minister Hemant Soren for allegedly disrespecting tribal leader Champai Soren during an election rally in Dhalbhumgarh.
"The tribal community is closely watching these insults," he remarked in the public meeting.
Moreover, Shah promised water connections to every household under Jal Jeevan Mission.
He also said that the focus remained on the alleged mistreatment of JMM’s founding member Champai Soren.
Meanwhile, Shah urged voters to support Babulal Soren in the upcoming election.
Furthermore, the Home Minister promised to reopen closed mines in the region.
In addition, BJP plans to return lands allegedly taken fraudulently from tribal communities.
"Our party made a tribal leader the President of India," he added.
Besides, Shah announced the celebration of Tribal Pride Year from Birsa Munda’s birthday.
On the other hand, he criticized the opposition’s stance on tribal chief ministers.
