JAMSHEDPUR – A land dispute in Birsanagar turned fatal when a 65-year-old Tata Motors employee was brutally attacked by his neighbors.
A property disagreement dating back to 2015 sparked the violent confrontation.
Moreover, the victim, identified as Vijay Sharma, sustained severe injuries from sticks and stones.
Following the assault, emergency responders transported him to Tata Main Hospital.
However, medical intervention proved futile as Sharma succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the victim’s wife Lalita Devi has named five members of the Shambhu Sharma family in her police complaint.
Reports say the dispute originated from a two-katta land purchase transaction between the families.
On the other hand, authorities have already apprehended the primary accused, Shambhu Sharma.
In addition, police officials completed the post-mortem and released the body to grieving family members.
Furthermore, law enforcement continues to investigate the involvement of other family members in the incident.
