Police raid uncovers large cache of beer and foreign liquor, shop owner escapes arrest

MEDININAGAR – Acting on confidential information, Lesliganj police conducted a raid on a grocery store in Palamu district, uncovering a significant illegal liquor stockpile.
The operation commenced after SP Reeshma Rameshan received intelligence about illicit alcohol sales.
Moreover, the police team discovered various premium alcohol brands during their search.
In addition, law enforcement seized 10 Kingfisher beer bottles from the premises.
Furthermore, the cache included 30 bottles of Godfather beer and 2 Bad Monkey beverages.
Meanwhile, 5 bottles of Royal Stock were also confiscated during the operation.
On the other hand, the store owner Muni Ram managed to escape, leaving his shop unattended.
However, Station In-charge Raju Kumar Gupta has initiated a manhunt to apprehend the suspect.
"This raid represents a significant blow to illegal liquor operations in our area," remarked Mr. Gupta.
