JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum district administration has set the stage for the upcoming assembly elections, focusing on transparency and adherence to electoral norms.

District Election Officer Ananya Mittal chaired a crucial meeting with political party representatives at the Collectorate Auditorium.

The gathering emphasized strict compliance with the Model Code of Conduct and election guidelines.

Moreover, Mittal outlined the two-phase randomization process for Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The first phase will identify EVM sets for each constituency, followed by booth-specific allocations.

Furthermore, LBSM College and Co-operative College will serve as dispatch centers for different constituencies.

EVMs will be moved to intermediate strong rooms on November 12 under tight security.

On polling day, November 13, teams will transport EVMs on foot to their assigned booths.

Meanwhile, political parties were reminded to be present during key stages of the election process.

This includes overseeing strong room operations and the mock polling exercise.

Additionally, the MCC and MCMC cells stressed the importance of pre-certifying all promotional materials.

Party representatives received briefings on maintaining accurate expenditure records.

Senior officials, including ADM Law and Order Aniket Sachan and SDM Dhalbhum Shatabdi Majumdar, attended the meeting.

The administration urged all parties to ensure strict compliance with guidelines for a smooth electoral process.
