Inner Wheel Club Jamshedpur concludes Breastfeeding week

Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club, Jamshedpur on Saturday, August 8, 2020 organised a Conclusion Day function of its Breastfeeding Week. The Club had launched the Breastfeeding Week last week to spread awareness among women about the importance of breastfeeding children and its positive impact on the health of both mother and the child.

Inner Wheel Club, Jamshedpur has turned its Silver Jubilee Year into a special and creative programmes year.

Inner Wheel Club Jamshedpur concludes Breastfeeding Week.

The Club has been spreading awareness about breastfeeding among women since 1996. The objective is to ensure that women understand the important for breastfeeding for the child health as well as their own health.

Every year the Club used to organise awareness programmes in different bustees of the city. But, this year in view of Covid pandemic, only talk shows were held and information was disseminated through media.

Inner Wheel Jamshedpur concludes Breastfeeding Week.

On the Conclusion Day of the programme, the speakers expressed hope that the programme has helped in spreading awareness.
