JAMSHEDPUR – A memorial service was held to honor Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata at the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce auditorium.
During the event, members and social workers gathered to pay homage to the late industrialist.
Attendees laid flowers at a portrait of Ratan Tata and reflected on his impactful legacy.
Ajay Gupta, a chamber member and district president of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, shared his personal experiences with Tata.
Gupta recalled meeting him three times and admired how, despite his global stature, Tata remained grounded and committed to humanity.
He lauded Tata’s visionary leadership, which not only placed Indian industry on the world stage but also emphasized service to society until his last days.
Gupta added that such an outstanding figure deserved the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor.
