JAMSHEDPUR – Tomorrow, Mango’s Swarnarekha Ghat will host the Vijayadashami idol immersion event with full preparation by the district administration.
To ensure a smooth and eco-friendly immersion process, the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) has set up designated tanks along the riverbank. These tanks are meant for the immersion of idols and worship materials to prevent pollution of the river.

Authorities have urged the public to use these tanks and avoid discarding materials directly into the river. This initiative aims to raise awareness about environmental protection and cleanliness.
Meanwhile, robust security arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incidents. Police forces will be stationed at the site, and special provisions have been made for public convenience. In addition, divers will be on standby to ensure safety along the riverbank.
