Loyola’s Tushar Kumar Sinha Kolhan tops JEE Main Session 2, NTA declares results; IIT JEE Advanced 2023 registration begins April 30.
Jamshedpur – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results for the JEE Main Session 2, and Tushar Kumar Sinha, a resident of Swarnrekha Flat, Sakchi, Jamshedpur, has emerged as the topper in the entire Kolhan region.
A student of Loyola School, Tushar secured an all-India rank of 325. His father, Arun Kumar Sinha, works as a senior associate in Tata Steel’s cold rolling mill, while his mother, Chandraprabha, is a homemaker.
Other notable performers from the region include Manmath Mishra (rank 979), Rudra Sinha (1383), Aritra Kolay (1833), Asmit Chauhan (1924), Shiven Sharma (2079), Shaurya Raj (2383), Aman Kumar Gupta (2857), Sumit Kumar (3927), and Shivans Singh (9710).
The JEE Main 2023 Session 2 examination was conducted on April 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 15. The answer key was released on April 19, with objections accepted until April 21.
The final provisional answer key was released on April 24, alongside the results. Candidates can check their results and the final answer key on the official NTA JEE website at jeemain.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
In the overall merit list, which is based on performances in both Session 1 and Session 2, 43 candidates scored a 100 percentile.
Among them, Ridhi Kamlesh Kumar Maheshwari from Karnataka was the only female candidate to achieve this feat.
The NTA dropped 10 questions in the final answer key, assuring full marks for candidates who appeared for the exam on specific dates.
Registration for IIT JEE Advanced 2023 will commence on April 30, 2023. Successful aspirants can apply through the official JEE Advanced website at jeeadv.ac.in.
Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has already started the application process for OCI/NRI candidates.
