JAMSHEDPUR – Health Minister Banna Gupta inaugurated the Swarnarekha Domuhani Sangam Ghat, marking a significant cultural addition to the Steel City.

The inauguration ceremony drew over 50,000 devotees to witness the grand festivities.

Moreover, the event featured a spectacular Swarnarekha Aarti performed by 11 priests from Kashi’s Assi Ghat.

Meanwhile, local singers Abhishek Pathak and Nidhi Mishra enhanced the devotional atmosphere with stirring bhajans.

In addition, Minister Gupta highlighted the ghat’s symbolism of social harmony in his address.

Furthermore, the Domuhani Gate showcases Lord Shiva on one side and the culturally significant Tusu Ghat on the other.

On the other hand, a life-size statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda represents Jharkhand’s heritage and faith.

The ghat also features statues of notable figures like Shahid Nirmal Mahato and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.

"This Sangam Sthal will see many more changes," Minister Gupta promised the attendees.

Besides, he invited the community to celebrate the upcoming Chhath festival at the new landmark.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Jharkhand Pradesh Congress President Keshav Mahato Kamlesh.

Minister Gupta’s wife, Sudha Gupta, and Rama Khalko were also present at the event.

"The Swarnarekha Domuhani Sangam Ghat represents our rich cultural heritage," remarked a local resident.
