JAMSHEDPUR – Former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar initiated a campaign to support local auto drivers by distributing driving license application forms.

The event took place at the Sakchi auto stand on Saturday.

Dr. Kumar emphasized auto rickshaws as the backbone of Jamshedpur’s transport system.

He highlighted that many drivers come from economically weaker sections.

The Jan Kalyan Rath, a mobile assistance initiative, is spearheading this campaign.

Moreover, it has already helped submit online applications for over 50 drivers.

These drivers are expected to receive their learner’s licenses soon.

The campaign aims to extend its reach to various auto stands across the city.

Dr. Kumar stressed the significance of this effort for the beneficiaries.

"A well-regulated system is key to making Jamshedpur better," he stated.

Furthermore, the Jan Kalyan Rath assists with other essential document applications.

These include ration cards, voter ID cards, and Aadhaar cards.

Approximately 11,000 people have benefited from this mobile service so far.

Dr. Kumar pledged to continue this effort for Jamshedpur’s development.

The initiative addresses the time and resource constraints faced by many auto drivers.

It simplifies the process of obtaining necessary documentation for their profession.

This campaign reflects a commitment to supporting underprivileged sections of society.

The mobile service brings essential government services to citizens’ doorsteps.
