Former Officer Returns To Role, Pledging Continued Forest Conservation Efforts

JAMSHEDPUR – On Friday, Shaba Alam Ansari officially started his role as the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) for Jamshedpur. He was appointed by the state government.
"I am dedicated to carrying on our work in conserving forests and wildlife," Ansari expressed when assuming office.
Ansari, who had previously worked as the DFO of Jamshedpur in 2015, brings a wealth of valuable experience to the position.
Mamta Priyadarshi, the outgoing DFO, spoke positively about her time in office and emphasized the importance of various conservation initiatives.
"I hope Ansari does well in continuing our efforts to protect the forest," Priyadarshi remarked.
Ansari has made a commitment to support the existing initiatives of the forest department and to generate employment opportunities for villagers living in the forest.
"It is important to emphasize the empowerment of local communities economically in order to achieve sustainable forest management," he said.
The forest department staff warmly welcomed the appointment of the new DFO.
