Six Youth Attack Shopkeeper in Kharangajhar, Steal Rs 7,000

JAMSHEDPUR – Six to seven assailants looted a general store in Kharangajhar Market and fled with Rs 7,000.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Saturday when Mahesh Singh, the shopkeeper, was alone in his store.
Six to seven youths entered Singh’s store and initially asked for snacks.
After receiving the items, they refused to pay and attacked Singh when he asked for money.
As Singh turned to fetch additional goods, the group pounced on him, beating him severely.
They then stole Rs 7,000 in cash from the store’s counter while Singh lay on the floor.
The police were informed and arrived quickly at the scene but the attackers managed to escape near Khadangjhar Chowk.
Mahesh Singh has filed a formal complaint at Telco Police Station against the unknown attackers.
Police are continuing their investigation to track down the culprits involved in the attack and robbery.
