Tata Steel Employee Shot in Jamshedpur’s Kadma Area
Tata Steel worker injured in a late-night shooting; police launch investigation.
In a late-night attack on Tuesday, criminals shot Tata Steel employee Budheshwar Mukhi twice from behind at his home in Kadma’s Teesta Road.
JAMSHEDPUR – Budheshwar Mukhi, a Tata Steel employee, was shot twice in the back by criminals outside his home in Kadma’s Teesta Road quarter No. 53-55 on Tuesday night around 10 PM.
Hearing the gunshots, his wife rushed outside, only to find her husband injured.
The attackers fled on a motorcycle.
With the help of neighbors, she took him to Tata Main Hospital (TMH), where he is currently receiving treatment.
Kadma police station in-charge Sanjay Suman arrived at the scene with his team and gathered information from Mukhi’s sister-in-law.
During the investigation, police recovered a bullet casing from the site.
Mukhi had finished his B shift duty at Tata Steel and returned home at 10:10 PM.
He was opening the gate to park his bike when he was shot.
It is suspected that the criminals followed him and executed the attack.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
The locality is in shock, and the police are working to apprehend the culprits.
