JAMSHEDPUR – The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce, Jamshedpur’s largest business association, convened its annual general meeting on Saturday at the Chamber building.

Members from all four wings of the organization attended the gathering.

The meeting reviewed the chamber’s activities over the past year.

Moreover, detailed discussions were held on plans for the upcoming year.

Manav Kedia, the Chamber’s General Secretary, explained the purpose of the annual meeting.

He stated that the AGM serves to present an account of the year’s activities.

This year’s focus was on two key infrastructure projects for Jamshedpur.

Firstly, the chamber discussed the proposed train service between Tata and Jaipur.

Secondly, the expansion of Jamshedpur Airport was a major topic of deliberation.

Kedia emphasized the need to contact the Railway Ministry regarding the train service.

Furthermore, he highlighted the growing necessity for an expanded airport in Jamshedpur.

The Chamber Secretary cited increasing business activities and population growth as key factors.

Additionally, he mentioned that a dedicated team from Singhbhum Chamber is working on the airport project.

The annual meeting underscored the chamber’s commitment to Jamshedpur’s economic development.
