DHANBAD – Dhanbad police have uncovered a plot to manipulate the ongoing Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC CGL) examination, arresting two suspects.

Acting on information from Lohardaga SP, Dhanbad police launched a significant operation.

Two young men were apprehended for allegedly attempting to influence the JSSC exam.

Moreover, authorities recovered a list of 21 candidates from the suspects.

In addition, blank cheques, ATM cards, and mobile phones were seized during the raid.

Dhanbad SSP HP Janardhan revealed that Lohardaga SP had provided crucial intelligence about the conspiracy.

Following this tip-off, a team led by SDPO Sindri Bhupendra Raut was formed to investigate.

The police team conducted raids in the Jharia police station area, resulting in the arrests.

Notably, one of the arrested individuals hails from Jehanabad, while the other is from Gomia, Bokaro.

Furthermore, the SSP disclosed that three mobile phones were confiscated from the suspects.

Three ATM cards and blank cheques from three different banks were also seized during the operation.

Additionally, a list containing names of candidates and their exam centers was recovered.

This list included the names of 21 candidates, raising suspicions about the scope of the conspiracy.

The Lohardaga SP has been informed about the arrests and the evidence collected.

Consequently, Lohardaga police will now take over the case for further investigation.

On the other hand, authorities are scrutinizing the recovered items to uncover more details about the plot.

The incident has raised concerns about the integrity of the JSSC CGL examination process.

In light of this, officials are likely to enhance security measures at exam centers across Jharkhand.

This case underscores the ongoing challenges in maintaining the fairness of competitive exams in the region.

As the investigation progresses, more information about the conspiracy and its potential impact may come to light.
