JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur FC is set to welcome a large contingent of young supporters for their upcoming Indian Super League match.
The club has invited around 1200 students from RMS High School, Khutadih.
These students will attend Jamshedpur FC’s first home game of the ISL 2024-25 season.
The match against Mumbai City FC is scheduled for Saturday at 5 PM.
Moreover, the game will take place at the iconic JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Kundan Chandra, Head of Grassroots and Youth Development, met with the students on Thursday.
He encouraged the young fans to support their hometown team enthusiastically.
"Your support is what matters," Chandra emphasized during his address to the students.
Furthermore, he noted the team’s recent good form and the need for local backing.
As part of the event, a painting competition was organized for the students.
Additionally, 10 students were selected to serve as escort kids for the match.
These chosen students will walk alongside the players onto the field before kickoff.
Jamshedpur FC returns home after an impressive away victory against FC Goa.
The team secured a 2-1 comeback win in their previous match.
Now, they aim to clinch their second victory of the ISL season against Mumbai City FC.
