JAMSHEDPUR – Vishwakarma Puja was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Tuesday in both the market area and rural regions of Chakulia.
At ITI College in the Naya Bazaar area, a statue of Lord Vishwakarma was installed, and a detailed ritualistic worship was conducted.
After the puja, prasad was distributed among the college students.
The event saw the presence of College Principal Tarun Kumar Mohanty, Padma Shri awardee Jamuna Tudu, Shambhunath Mallik, along with all the teachers and students.
In addition, various other factories and mills in the market area also celebrated the festival with similar zeal.
In the rural regions, the celebration extended to households where residents performed rituals on their motorcycles and four-wheelers, seeking blessings from Lord Vishwakarma.
Prasad was distributed among the people following the puja.
