JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Jamshedpur (TSJ) achieved a significant milestone at the 25th National Awards for Excellence in Energy Management 2024, held in Hyderabad from September 10-12.

TSJ was honored as the National Energy Leader in Energy Management, marking its first win of this prestigious title.

The company also secured the Excellent Energy Efficient Unit and Most Useful Presentation awards in the Metals category, underscoring its dedication to energy efficiency and innovative practices.

The award-winning team comprised members from various divisions, including Iron Making, Shared Services (FMD), Steel Making, Environment Management, and Shikhar.

Key contributors included Nitin Lodha, Vipul Gupta, Muruganarayanan G, Pratyush Ranjan Samantaray, Smriti Mishra, and Priyanshu Sinha.

The National Energy Leader award was presented by Milind Deore, Director at the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of India; Ravichandran Purushothaman, Chairman of the Energy Efficiency Council, CII-Godrej GBC; and Sai D Prasad, Chairman of CII Telangana State Council and Executive Director of Bharat Biotech.
