BJP Completes Voting for Candidate Selection for Assembly Polls in Jamshedpur

JAMSHEDPUR – The BJP concluded its internal voting process on Wednesday to determine candidates for all four assembly seats in the Jamshedpur metropolitan area.

Dipendra Singh Dipu, a respected BJP leader with a clean image, has emerged as a leading candidate for the Jamshedpur West seat.

Sources indicate that Dipu received significant support during the voting process.

Dipu, a long-time party worker, has fulfilled various responsibilities assigned by the BJP over the decades, which has strengthened his candidacy.

The voting took place at different locations: the East Jamshedpur constituency at Devasthan Shiv Mandir in Burmamines, the West constituency at Bada Hanuman Mandir in Mango, the Jugsalai constituency at Dolphin Club, and the Potka constituency at Kalyan Mandap in Sundernagar.

State observer Manoj Mahto explained that a sealed ballot box was used to collect votes, which will only be opened at the state office.

The voting involved BJP leaders and workers from the panchayat to the district level, each submitting three names.

Retired DIG and BJP leader Rajiv Ranjan Singh highlighted the democratic nature of the selection process, emphasizing that every party member has the freedom to express their preferences confidentially.

BJP leader Dipu Singh remarked that the enthusiasm among party members was high as they cast their votes.

He assured that the ballot box would not be tampered with until it reaches the state office, where the final decision will be made after thorough deliberation.
