Man shot at in Rahargora, cops suspect enmity angle

Jamshedpur: A Tata Motors contract worker, identified as Vikram Singh, was shot at in Rahargora under Parsudih police station area on Sunday, police said.
Sources said the victim was shot in the leg. He was first taken to MGM Hospital and later to Tata Main Hospital where his condition was reportedly stable.
Sources said Vikram had a tiff with Hemant Khalkho, the former Mukhiya of the locality, Saturday last. Today, the two once again fell out. During the quarrel, Hemant allegedly shot Vikram in the leg.
Police officials reached the scene and began a probe into the incident. They suspect the hostility between the two men led to the incident.
Zila Parishad vice president Rajkumar Singh reached the hospital to see the victim.
