Tree plantation to mark Thakur Ji Pathak’s death anniversary

Thakur ji Pathak was appointed as the National General Secretary of Janata Dal in 1989. Thakur ji was a famous personality who always helped poor people and farmers.

Jamshedpur: Rich tributes were paid to Shaheed Thakurji Pathak by Shaheed Thakurji Pathak Welfare Society on his death anniversary today.

The National President of the society, Surya Prakash Pathak and National Secretary Chandra Prakash Pathak planted trees on the occasion.

Relief materials and clothes etc. were also distributed by the society at many places of Jamshedpur.

These materials were distributed among the needy in areas like Bistupur, Sakchi, Station Road etc.

Prahlad Pathak, Abhinav Goswami, Ankit Sakuja, Abhishek Srivastava, Vivek Pandey, Ekta, Saurav Goswami and Rohit Singh played an important role in this.

Thakur ji Pathak was an eminent personality who was also a social worker and who always helped the poor and farmers and the needy of Jamshedpur.

He was considered close to former PM late Chandrashekhar. He dedicated his life fighting for the rights of the people.

Shaheed Thakur Ji Pathak (1968 – 1994) was a social activist and politician. He was the National General Secretary of Janata Dal. In 1994, Thakur ji Pathak was murdered by some anti-social elements. Thakur ji Pathak was born in the house of Kedarnath Pathak.

He was the youngest of three children in his family. He was always active and was interested in the political scenario of India from a very young age.

Thakurji joined the Janata Dal in the early 1980s to meet the demands of the poor people of his constituency. She was an active supporter of women’s rights and was remembered by her fellow party colleagues.

Thakur Ji Pathak was appointed as the National General Secretary of Janata Dal in 1989.

On 19 March 1994, Thakur ji Pathak was shot dead by some anti-social elements in front of the Jamshedpur Court.

In the memory of Thakur Ji Pathak, “Thakur Ji Pathak Welfare Society” was established in 1995. This organization actively helps the needy and poor.
