JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee implements a structured parking fee system at Kadma Ganesh Puja ground, aiming to organize vehicle management during the fair.

JNAC has established tiered parking rates for different vehicle types.

Two-wheeler parking costs ₹10 for the first two hours.

Four-wheelers are charged ₹20 for the initial two-hour period.

Additional hours incur ₹2 and ₹5 fees for two and four-wheelers respectively.

Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar appointed Ashok Vardhan as nodal officer.

Special Officer Arvind Tirkey and City Manager Joy Gudiya will assist in operations.

The parking arrangement will continue until September 22.

JNAC officials inspected the parking area on Friday evening.

Discussions were held with the Puja Committee and Kadma Police.

The initiative aims to prevent unauthorized fee collection and parking issues.

Kumar stressed the importance of organized parking for vehicle safety.

"This system will also generate revenue for the government," Kumar noted.

The move seeks to enhance visitor experience during the Ganesh Puja fair.
