Jamshedpur Man Shot Dead in Jamshedpur’s Shantinagar Area

Shaktinath Singh, a head clerk at the Swarnarekha Project, was shot dead near his home.

Shaktinath Singh, a Swarnarekha Project official in Jamshedpur, was killed near his Mango residence, with links to his brother’s earlier murder.

JAMSHEDPUR – Shaktinath Singh, a resident of Shantinagar, Mango, Jamshedpur, was shot dead by criminals near his home.

Singh, who worked as a head clerk at the Swarnarekha Project, was sitting in his car when a gunman approached and fired seven shots at him before fleeing.

The incident has connections to a previous murder in the family.

Shaktinath’s brother, Amarnath Singh, was also shot dead in Basukinath (Dumka) earlier.

Ganesh Singh and others were accused in that case.

Eyewitnesses identified the assailant as a local, who is believed to be one of the seven to eight criminals recently released from jail in the Mango area.

The police are investigating the motive behind the murder and attempting to identify and apprehend the culprits involved.

Shaktinath Singh had been working at the Swarnarekha Project’s Adityapur office as a senior clerk, a position he inherited after his father’s death.

There were multiple complaints lodged against Shaktinath Singh too at the Jamshedpur SSP office, according to sources.
