JAMSHEDPUR – Rotary clubs from Kolhan held a rally in Sakchi, Jamshedpur, protesting the rape and murder of a trainee female doctor in Kolkata.
The rally was organized by nine Rotary clubs, including Jamshedpur West, Jamshedpur Green, Chaibasa, and Jamshedpur Dalma, among others.

Participants expressed deep concern over crimes against women, especially those in the medical profession.
They met with Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and submitted a memorandum demanding stronger security measures for doctors and harsher penalties for such crimes.
Rotary members stressed the need for increased protection for women, particularly in hospitals.
The Deputy Commissioner assured them that their concerns would be communicated to higher authorities.
Rotary clubs vowed to continue their efforts to combat violence against women and medical professionals.
