South Eastern Railway Responds to Sikh Community, Resumes Cancelled Trains

SER reinstates Tatanagar-Amritsar and Amritsar-Tatanagar Express following Sikh community’s concerns, enhancing connectivity.

JAMSHEDPUR – Responding to the concerns of the Sikh community, South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced the resumption of two critical train services, previously cancelled due to fog.

This decision, aimed at alleviating passenger inconvenience, is particularly significant for the Sikh community.

The Tatanagar-Amritsar Jallianwala Bagh Express (Train No. 18103) is scheduled to resume on 18.12.2023, while the Amritsar-Tatanagar Express (Train No. 18104) will restart on 20.12.2023.

The restoration of these trains comes in the wake of protests and vocal demands from the Sikh community, underlining the importance of these routes in their travel needs.

A Railway official emphasized the importance of these services for the Sikh community and the commitment to efficient, reliable transportation.

BJP leader Satbir Singh Somu expressed gratitude for the Railway’s swift response, highlighting the significance of these trains, especially during the festive season.
